Man 'O War Bay, Dorset

December 2012 - A very windy stormy morning, but luckily the rain from earlier was holding off. The erosion on this part of the coast is getting bad and I'm stood on all that's left of the ledge I normally stand on to capture this view. My camera and tripod are weighted down with my bag to stop them blowing over the edge in the high winds. After taking this picture I moved back to safety and as I let go of my camera briefly to open my bag camera bag a gust of wind blew my tripod and camera over and face down into the muddy bank. Luckily the only damage was a Lee ND filter but £80 all the same... the hazards of Landscape photography and how dangerous the coastline is at the moment in this awful weather. Be careful out there!!!
