View towards The Pinnacles and Swanage, Dorset

January 2014 - I went for an early morning trip to Old Harry Rocks to see if I could find a different view of that part of the coastline. The moon was still up and shining bright in the sky nearly an hour before sunrise, so I decided to face towards the Pinnacles which are a smaller group of rocks, but just as interesting, and keep the moon in frame. I did think about doing a separate exposure for the moon and blending it in afterwards in Photoshop, but l like the starburst effect as the light illuminates Old Nick's Ground across the cliff tops .. just love these old Dorset names :) The Swanage street lights are still on in the distance.
