Portland Bill Storm, Dorset

November 2013, Second Wind - I managed to get over to Portland for round 2 of the storms this week, but not as bad as the previous 80 mph winds, but still gusting around 30-40 mph. The tide was high and the waves were crashing straight in from the west and Pulpit Rock was practically unreachable against the wind and the bucket loads of sea spray. I decided to lay low behind rocks on the South side of the coastline to give me and my camera some shelter from the spray, but still a spectacular display of natures power.
