East Cliffs, West Bay, Dorset (Home of Broadchurch)

April 2013 - The Bridport Sand formation of this part of the Jurassic coastline glows during 'golden hour' and a beautiful site on the right day. This time of year the sun sets inland towards Lyme Regis and the cliffs will suddenly be cast in shadow as if someone has turned the light out about 20 minutes before sunset. I think most of the country will now know West Bay as 'Broadchurch' after the success of the recent TV drama, and you can already buy 'Broadchurch Fish & Chips'!!!
