River Frome Sunrise, Wareham, Dorset

September 2015 - The weather the day before plus the forecast for the sunrise hours looked perfect for a misty morning. I'd planned to go to Corfe Castle but my van had other plans and caused a delay, but always have a plan B in mind. The River Frome in Wareham was already looking promising and the mists would increase as the sun started to rise so I setup there and waited. Pre-sunrise was nice and then the mist thickened, but I'd been in this situation before and waited a bit longer for the warming sun to burn off some of the mist. The mist acts as a big diffuser and spreads the golden light of the sun across the scene creating a lovely warm glow. I also created a Square Format image for those that prefer.
