Brownsea Island Storm

May 2012 - The evening was lovely and sunny, but the weather had been changeable, and as I was walking through the woods I could see the sky darkening and a storm moving across. I could see a small beach ahead so made a run for the steps and onto the beach, and couldn't believe my luck when I saw the old tree face down in the sand, displaying its weathered roots like a peacock. I quickly setup as the storm moved across Poole Harbour making a lovely scene more dramatic, then packed away quickly before the heavens opened.
