Peveril Point Sunset, Swanage

In: News
It had been raining on and off during the day and looked like there would be no chance of a sunset, then an hour or so before 'golden hour' the rain stopped. Would it stay that way... well always worth taking a chance and sometimes that's when the best light becomes available, particularly when storm clouds appear.

This time the clouds cleared and I just managed to get the last of the clouds catching the golden light of sunset before the sky became completely cloud free. The sea was calm and approaching high tide so the rocks were starting to disappear, but managed to get this image whilst stood close to the waters edge on banks of seaweed, which was like standing on a springy matress... and a smelly fly infested one at that!!, but always worth it.
