European Tour / Family Holiday

In: News
I've just returned from an amazing tour through Europe in our motorhome. The route took us through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland and eventually Italy.

We spent a couple of nights in Luxembourg and filled up with the cheapest petrol in Europe at 1.2 euros per litre before moving on to Lucerne in Switzerland and camping next to the lake. Our next destination took us to Lago del Piano for 4 nights along the banks of this beautiful lake not far from Lake Como. This was a much quieter, less commercial campsite and very relaxing.

We then moved on back towards France through the Mount Blanc tunnel and stayed for 2 nights by the French part of Lake Geneva. Our route then took us through the Burgandy region of France where we stayed overnight in Marsannay la Côte to visit the vineyards and the chateau where the local wine is made, and of course taste the goods. As some bottles were on sale for 90 euros a bottle then tasting was enough !!!

We then finally travelled towards Paris and stayed a couple of nights in the Disneyland Paris motorhome carpark, which is the cheapest way to stay and visit the park at 30 euros per night. If you consider that it would cost 20 euros to park a motorhome there anyway, then was good value and includes use of the showers and motorhome services.

If anyone wants to know route information, campsite/aires details etc, then feel free to email me for details. More images will be available soon.
