Corfe Castle on a misty morning

As I turned up at dawn there were a few more photographers starting to make there way up the west side of Corfe to the place where I would normally shoot these iconic ruins from. I made the decision to be different from the others and go to the east hill in the hope that when the sun rose and broke through the mist it would bathe the castle in golden light right in front of me. Unfortunately things just turned grey and flat, so decided to shoot in black & white to capture some of the ethereal atmosphere of this great location.
