Pottery Pier, Brownsea Island at Sunset

May 2012 - Another image from my evening out on Brownsea Island. This was taken near Pottery Pier after the sun had set showing the after glow of the sun below the horizon. It's always worth waiting at least half an hour after the sun has disappeared below the horizon as sometimes that's when the magic starts to happen. The long exposures needed in the low light also allow for plenty of cloud movement and smoothing of water to add further interest to the picture.
